Terms of Service
1. Our Programs
AISA provides hands-on AI education, including the AI Automation Agency Bootcamp and related workshops, delivered in person in San Francisco and/or online via Zoom. Program content, formats, schedules, instructors, and pricing may change; the current offering and dates are published on our registration page at luma.com/aistartacademy, which controls in the event of any conflict with the Site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to register and participate. By registering you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to accept these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of the entity you represent.
3. Registration, Fees & Payment
Seats are confirmed upon successful payment through our registration and payment provider (e.g., Luma). Prices are listed at the time of purchase and may change for future cohorts; published price changes do not affect registrations already confirmed. You are responsible for any applicable taxes and for the third-party tools and subscriptions used during a Program (see Section 12).
4. Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships may be offered per cohort, at AISA's discretion and subject to availability and approval. To inquire, email hello@aistartacademy.com.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel your registration, the following applies based on the time before the Program start date:
- 7 days or more in advance: 100% refund.
- 48 hours to 7 days in advance: 80% refund (a 20% administrative fee applies).
- Less than 48 hours in advance, or no-show: 50% refund.
Where permitted, you may instead transfer your registration to a future cohort. Tickets purchased through a third-party platform may also be subject to that platform's policies. To request a cancellation or transfer, contact hello@aistartacademy.com.
6. Changes or Cancellation by AISA
We may reschedule, modify, or cancel a Program (for example, due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control). If we cancel a Program and cannot offer you a suitable alternative date, we will provide a full refund of fees paid to AISA for that Program. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other incidental expenses.
7. Intellectual Property & License
The Site and all Program materials — including curricula, slides, templates, recordings, software, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (collectively, the "Content") — are owned by or licensed to AISA and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Content for your own learning. You may not record, copy, resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the Content, or use it to build a competing program, without our prior written consent.
8. Acceptable Use & Code of Conduct
We are committed to a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone. You agree to treat instructors, staff, and other participants with respect, to follow facilitator instructions, and not to disrupt sessions or our online communities. We may remove any participant who violates this section or these Terms, without refund.
9. Educational Purpose; No Professional Advice
Our Programs are for educational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, investment, or other professional advice. You are responsible for how you apply what you learn, including compliance with the terms and laws that govern any tools, data, or businesses you work with.
10. Third-Party Tools & Services
Programs reference and use third-party tools and platforms (for example, AI model providers, automation and CRM tools, Zoom, and others). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and pricing, and you are responsible for obtaining and paying for your own accounts. AISA is not responsible for third-party services or any changes to them.
11. No Guarantee of Results
AISA does not guarantee any particular outcome from participating in a Program. We make no promise that you will acquire clients, generate revenue, obtain employment, or achieve any specific result. Any examples, case studies, or testimonials are illustrative and are not a guarantee of your results, which depend on your own effort, skills, decisions, and market conditions.
12. Your Content & Feedback
If you submit projects, questions, or feedback, you retain ownership of your own work, but you grant AISA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use feedback you provide to improve our Programs. Do not submit confidential information you are not authorized to share.
13. Disclaimers
The Site, Content, and Programs are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AISA and its owners, instructors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to the Site or the Programs. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to AISA for the Program giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AISA and its owners, instructors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or Programs, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us to seek an informal resolution. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site or participation in a Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
